Introduction
The official IRC channels are on irc.heavenlyplace.net port:6667. There are two channels:
- #wurm - For general chat
- #wurmhelp - For players seeking help
IRC Clients
- Mirc
- Xchat
- ChatZilla extension for Firefox
- Opera has IRC built-in
The Wurm client also includes basic IRC support (as of version 2.1.10).
Useful IRC Commands
How to Register your IRC Nickname
In IRC, not in an actual channel, enter the following /msg nickserv REGISTER password email@email.com
How to identify yourself
In IRC, not in an actual channel, enter /msg NickServ IDENTIFY password
Or just enter the password in your IRC client.
