The Boar shoulder pad reduces all weapon damage dealt and received, making them good for tanking while others deal damage.

Shoulder pads can be purchased with points awarded by participating in an active rift.
Shoulder pads take damage when not in the player's inventory, on a merchant, in the mail, or in a magic chest.
If dyed, shoulder pads must be removed and re-equipped to show color.
One shoulder pad is sufficient to gain an effect if the shoulder pad grants one.
The effect of one shoulder pad is one half that of a set of two.
Different shoulder pads can be worn to gain multiple effects, one from each.
